Project Planning Workshop

On the 28th April 2015 EUCC-D, NMFRI and WMU organised a workshop on the new premises of the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden. The workshop was part of the extended activities of project HERRING. In the course of HERRING, the project partners came to the conclusion, that there is a great need for better linking the management of natural coastal resources and socioeconomic development in the South Baltic region.
In order to identify and analyse existent best practices but also the gaps in the implementation of such a link, the project partners carried out a desktop study of former projects which dealt with the management of natural coastal resources in the Southern Baltic sea region.
In order to develop ideas for new projects and discuss current best practices and gaps the workshop was organized.

The minutes of the workshop are available for download
